Make a Origami Cherry Blossom At Home

Learn how to make a cute Origami cherry blossom, these traditional Sakura flowers are wonderful as a decoration for various occasions, such as decorating handmade greeting cards, birthday cards or wall decoration!

This Origami flower starts by making a pentagon, which gives it five petals!

It is recommended to start with 15 x 15 cm Paper. You can then make them with smaller Paper once you have the slope.

Size 1.15 x 15 cm. Paper
First Steps
Start the color page at the top. Fold the bottom edge of your paper up.

Then take the lower left corner and bring it to the center-do not bend the entire section only the central point.

Bring the upper left corner diagonally to the center and again – make a pinch in the center. Now you have an X that marks the center of the left side of the paper.

Then take the lower left corner and fold it up and to the right, aligning it with the left vertical edge of the right section.

Fold the entire left section back and fold it along the same left vertical edge.

Now you can cut a petal shape as shown.

11. Now you need to fold the flower back and make sure that the folds between the petals are valley folds. The folds located in the center of each petal are said to be mountain folds.

Fold the lower left edge slightly inward. Turn the model to the other side.

Carefully unfold the flower and bring the petals from the back down. Pull the top to the right, simultaneously holding the small square and lifting it slightly.
